The Royal Hippodrome Theatre
The Royal Hippodrome Theatre is a theatre in Eastbourne which dates back to 1883, making it the oldest theatre in the town. It was designed and built for the theatre manager and impresario George Beaumont Loveday by the eminent theatre architect C J Phipps.
The venue has been host to one of the longest running summer seasons in the country for several years, which runs from May to October.
The Royal Hippodrome Theatres programme of events covers a range of genres including live music acts, tribute artists, comedy nights, dance shows and talks. Alongside the summer season which is produced in-house by Theatre Directors Alex & Debbie Adams, The Royal Hippodrome Theatre also produces hugely popular Pantomimes at Christmas and Easter each year.
Alex and Debbie are delighted to be sponsoring East Sussex School or Circus Arts student Summer.
